John Silvestre MS, LCSW; is a cognitive
behavioral therapist with a full time private practice in Manhattan and
Westchester. He is a dedicated and caring professional specializing in
Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum Disorders. He earned a
Licenciateship in Clinical Psychology from Lisbon University and a Masters
in Science in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University.
John Silvestre has coauthored articles on the treatment of Anxiety

clinicians. He is currently Instructor in Psychiatry and Behavioral
Sciences at New York Medical College.
John lives in Irvington on Hudson with his wife of 17 years and his three
children (9y.o. Xana; 7 y.o. David; and 4y.o. Josef). His other passions
are: running, nature, music and soccer.
